Mass marketing engagement has been dragged down by opens, clicks and views, giving the marketer very little data to personalize the purchasing experience around each consumers' specific needs. Emotive powers online brands to scale expert sales associates through mobile messaging to every single customer. We are currently working with over 180+ eCommerce businesses today and are growing about 10-20% each month. We are a 16 person startup and looking to grow to over to over 25 in the next 6 months. We are currently searching for our Head of Engineering to manage our growing software team. This is a senior management role that is in charge of all major technical decisions that drive both customer innovation and overall platform reliability/scalability. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of software experience in the SaaS industry. This person will also have previously managed high functioning software teams in fast growth startup environments. As the engineering lead, the candidate is expected to manage developers efficiently through the software development lifecycle. It is also important for the candidate to have solid product understanding and can work closely with product teams and add a technical layer to the overall product roadmap. This person has a strong ability to manage both business and technical needs and can prioritize between technical debt and new product development. Aside from our mission of making marketing more emotionally driven, our head of engineering should be the reason why our engineers love coming to work every day. This person should be able to put their own self aside in order to create cohesion between the rest of our team.
